DIY: Mini-Manga!

I'd like to share with you all about how to make little manga books as props for photography, or simply for your figures to pass their time!
It's easy to make, so have fun making mini-manga!
(you can also use this tutorial for normal books too)

Step 1Print out your manga covers!
Go to a website such as manga.joentjuh.nl and put the manga covers in a word processor like Microsoft Word and adjust them to a size that is good for your figures. Play around with the printing settings!

* Optional : Print out the inside of the manga too~ *

Step 2Cut out cardboard and paper!
Once you have printed and cut your manga covers, get some thin cardboard (I'm using Lego packaging~) and cut it to the size of the print-out. You should have two of them to make one manga book.

Step 3Cover up your cardboard!
Take some of the remaining paper from just now and measure and cut out papers big enough to cover the cardboard. Glue them to look like the picture above! *You may fold them now, if you want*

Step 4Paste your manga covers!
Now just glue the covers to the white side of the cardboard, following how the manga would look like in reality. At this point, you can finish it by gluing the insides together if you want them closed.

Step 5*This is optional!*
You can paste the pages from the real manga that you printed onto the inside!
This will give you the option to open and close it.

There you have it! If you made them, you will see that if you use it as a prop, it looks so cute with other mini furniture and your figures! You may also make other types of books using this way, like an exercise book or a cookbook.

Now me and my nendoroids can enjoy reading Yotsuba's manga~
